100% would recommend recording here.
I first heard about the attic sounds through the Herne Hill Music Bar Off the Cuff. One of the sound engineers at the bar, Dave, is also a sound engineer at attic sounds.
I'd done some gigs at Off the Cuff which meant I had worked with Dave before and knew he was easy to work with and could make a great sound. After looking around at other studios, I still couldn't find a place that beat attic sounds' rates so decided to record my band with them.
I booked to record 3 songs over 2 days and the results were phenomenal. I talked to Dave before the recording about what type of thing we were looking for. He got exactly the type of vibe we were looking and this was really reflected in the results. He was extremely efficient in setting up and going through the recordings, helpful in offering advice and generally really easy to get along with. He went the extra mile to find the exact right sound we were looking for, both during the recording (mic, amp set ups etc) and also in post production and by the end of the second day we were amazed by the quality of the rough edits.
Dave then went the extra mile and did some mastering that really beefed up the whole sound. He was also extremely fast, getting the final mastered tracks within days of the initial recording.
All in all, a bit over £200 for 2 days of recording, 3 excellently produced tracks, and a really enjoyable experience. Can't beat that.

A small studio in the heart of Bermondsey, charging very reasonable prices for recording and mixing. Through a combination of some wonderful analogue equipment, a wide range of hardware- and software-based units, and a precise and knowledgable approach to mic technique, Dave Mountain gets the sound you want. I have mainly done delicate, acoustic-y recordings there but I know that all sorts are catered for!

The Attic Sounds ... Perfect recordings !!

I had a very good time recording vocals at The Attic Sounds .
I am a singer - songwriter and needed to do some vocal takes and seat them on existing trip-hop soft rock backing tracks .
Dave 's knowledge of mixing was really surprising and I felt very comfortable working with him also because he was giving me advice and feedback while recording in order to get the best results .
He set up specific microphones for my voice and used very effective techniques for the mixes which gave a unique touch to my music .
I would recommend this to every musician who is looking for high quality recording at a very reasonable price !!

I'm in a metal / punk band who've have had a couple of attempts at recording our music with varying degrees of success. This time around, we decided we'd try and get things done properly and spent a bit of time talking to different people before committing to the process.
We came across Dave / Javier at Attic Studios through a bit of Google searching. Having met them, we thought it was really cool how passionate they both are about what they do. They seemed really knowledgeable and genuinely excited about working with us. We went on to work with them on an extended EP and the experience has been amazing; not only do we get the benefit of their technical expertise but we also get their input as musicians - it's so reassuring to work with an engineer who speaks up when you maybe haven't nailed a take or if he has some ideas that will make your music sound better.
They have a really professional approach to making music but are also a cool couple of guys - being a small, unsigned band, it means so much to be given more than just the time of day. The Attic Sounds is also really competitive for a day of studio time and the guys are very flexible too. Give them a call and give them a try!
