Review:
Ahmed loves music. Ahmed loves recording and producing music. Fact I was attracted to these studios because of the amount of old skool equipment they have. I would suggest that anyone reading this review, pick up the phone and give Ahmed a call to arrange a mini tour. A very friendly chap who knows exactly what he's doing. We are a two-piece band (percussion/guitar) and we preferred to do a live take of all our songs. Ahmed always seemed enthusiastic and went the extra mile to mix our recordings- also bouncing it on tape for an extra nice touch. We were blown away when we put it on in the car on the way home. We now have an E.P fit for radio/itunes/ and to sell at our gigs that i am extremely happy with. Thankyou Ahmed, see you for E.P number two....or an album maybe?? Soul & Fire (band)

Review:
This Summer 2012, I was asked to be Music Director for the World Premeire of Charles Dicken's, 'Barnaby Rudge' in connection with his Bicentennial based in his birth place, Portsmouth. As I finished writing the score, I knew that I needed a professional recording so that this opportunity wouldn't be wasted. I searched for studios within my area and found Retro Central Studios, a Unique Studio with 'Classic' and 'Vintage' equipment. I contacted the Studio and they were more than happy to take on the task offering Quality recordings and Time to edit til perfection. When you first enter the Studios you are in awe as this is clearly an established studio with an experienced technician. Ahmed has eclectic taste and heaps of experience to offer and he made my recordings sound like it was done by Deutsche Grammophone, if not better with his Vintage Neumann Mics. I would strongly recommended Ahmed and his Retro Studios as it is a unique and personal experience which you would have to travel to London and pay £1000s more to be better.
