Full disclosure: I used to work at Metropolis as an assistant. The stunning Powerhouse building itself casts a huge presence on tracking sessions here. It's so imposing that it can really bring out the elusive "vibe" factor in a tracking session. That said, I can also imagine, shy artists possibly finding this a little too much, and preferring a smaller more intimate surrounding. Studio B has the smaller of the two live rooms in Metropolis, however, I have always preferred it for conventional rock tracking sessions. Drums sound far better in this room than the larger Studio A live room, and the G-Series console has "that" sound.
