Located in the heart of Shoreditch, Definition Arts is the traditional analogue studio incorporating cutting edge digital technology. Based around the ex BBC Calrec MK6 desk and seamlessly integrated with classic analogue vintage gear and a Pro Tools 12HDX System, our studio is the perfect choice for all stages of your production. In addition, food and drinks can be ordered from the excellent Strongroom Bar and Restaurant which is just downstairs!

The studio embodies the evolution of recording studio technology. Every aspect of the room has been carefully designed with the intention of providing an extremely efficient working environment, in a truly relaxing and unique location. The room is bathed in light from floor to ceiling windows looking out over the ivy-clad courtyard.

The choice of Calrec console provides a characterful and adaptable front-end, either in an ‘in-the-box’ configuration or with a traditional console-based workflow. An adjoining live area has excellent line of sight to the mix position and is equipped with a second Pro Tools workstation, providing additional editing capability, if required. There are many, latest version, plug-ins including many bundles from the likes of Waves, Soundtooys, Eventide, Native Instruments, Neve, SSL,  Audio Ease and Valhalla
