Lynchmob Studios is an independent studio nestled between Shepherds Bush and Ladbroke Grove, just four minutes from the BBC Television Centre in West London. A large collection of classic recording equipment offers a ‘truly unique creative environment’ centred around a custom-built vintage Neve A246 console (c.1969) with twenty-eight 1070L and six 1081 mic pre-amp EQs together with Neve, Urei 1178, Polygram and Pye compressors.

Studio owner and renowned producer, Brendan Lynch told us, “The control room is very comfortable and spacious with extremely accurate monitoring via Tannoy SGM-10Bs with Mastering Lab crossover, Genelecs, NS10s and Auratone. Combining the best of analogue and digital equipment we have a 40-output Pro Tools HD3 Accel system with a large selection of plug-ins and an Ampex 2-track analogue tape machine. The live room is perfect for live band recording, with isolation available for amps and instruments and 12-way monitoring offered to all musicians.”

Lynchmob offers a large selection of backline equipment including a Vox AC30 (1963), Fender Bassman (1966), Wurlitzer keyboard and EMS VCS3 synth. Mics include Neumann, AKG, Coles and Sony. There is also free parking and the studio is only a ten minute walk from the Westfield shopping centre.

Recent clients include Mumford & Sons, Manic Street Preachers, Razorlight, Kasabian, Pete & The Pirates and The Whip. For further information about the studio or for bookings enquiries please contact Lynchmob here. (Nov 2010)
