Big Noise Studios in Rochford, Essex is a professional recording studio offering a wide range of audio recording, editing and mixing services. With a 52 channel Raindirk Symphony LN2 console (pictured above) that allows 120 inputs on mixdown, and monitoring via Yamaha NS10/ Dynaudio M1.5 / Auratone nearfields PLUS Tannoy FSM-U Mains, the studios have grown to house a well equipped control room with two live rooms, overdub booth, vocal booth, rehearsal room and lots of music gear and sound equipment to fill it.
Equipment includes; a choice of 24 or 16 track tape machines plus two Studer A80 1/4″ machines and the usual Pro Tools & Logic Pro DAWs. There is a Hammond Organ and Leslie speaker, Fender Rhodes, Wurlizter EP200, Clavinet D6, VOX AC30, Musicman 212HD, Roland JC77, various tape and Space Echos, spring reverbs plus an EMT 240 stereo plate reverb. Big Noise is owned and run by multi instrumentalist, composer and producer Simon Davies (Stingray Davies from the bands Speedometer and The Organites) since 1995. The studios are located just 30mins from the M25 with plenty of free parking and easy loading available.
