THE AXIS on Ormside is a brand new hub of 10 productions studios, located in the heart of Bermondsey, South London. Designed for the music and content creation industries, the complex provides studios, meeting space and memberships for creators and is only a ten minute walk away from New Cross or a five minute bike ride from Peckham, where you can find a wide selection of pubs, bars and restaurants.
Each of the studios is soundproofed and designed by Gillieron Scott Acoustic Design with architectural design by alma-nac. Options are available for residents to take on a longterm exclusive lease on a studio or for clients to hire rooms on a daily or membership basis.
RESIDENTIAL ROOMS:
All rooms are approximately 4.4m by 3.3m with a 2.6m ceiling height and come with independently controlled aircon (which both heats and cools) and vent system. All longterm let Resident studios are available for exclusive use.

DAILY RATES & MEMBERSHIP OPTIONS
As well as longterm leases, some of the studios are available for hire on a daily basis. Clients are welcome to turn up with a laptop and get straight to work. Each studio comes fully equipped with professional equipment, award-winning acoustic design and 1GB WiFi. There is also a Piano Room for hire, with an upright piano plus the standard Axis Studio spec, a U87 mic pack and an API A2D dual 312 mic pre matched pair; and there is floating stock available at no extra cost
