Global artist management company Three Six Zero has acquired the iconic SARM Music Village in London.
The recording facility, located in Notting Hill, West London, houses six studios (commonly known as ‘SARM Studios’) and a suite of purpose-built offices.
It had been owned, until now, by Grammy-winning producer Trevor Horn.
SARM Music Village has hosted studio sessions from superstar artists including Paul McCartney, Rihanna, Dua Lipa, Madonna, One Direction, Stormzy, Lana Del Rey, Paolo Nutini, Charli XCX, Mark Ronson, and Florence & The Machine.
According to a listing by Winkworth estate agents in London, SARM Music Village’s owners were seeking offers in excess of GBP £4.5 million (USD $5.3m) for the complex.
That listing confirms that the SARM complex is set over 5,800 sq.ft.
With the purchase completed, Three Six Zero says that the complex will now undergo refurbishment before becoming a “fundamental part” of the company’s global ecosystem.
Three Six Zero told MBW that the purchase represents a significant move by the company to create a central hub in London, “strengthening [our] UK foundations and providing a valuable stepping stone to Europe”.
The facilities will be available to all Three Six Zero clients and partners while the SARM Studios complex will also serve as the new base for Three Six Zero Recordings.
As a management company, Three Six Zero represents talent including Calvin Harris, WILLOW, Majid Jordan, Bloodpop, The Streets, and Jabari Banks.
Three Six Zero also has offices in Miami and global headquarters in Los Angeles.
