This unique SSL Duality Studio in Wimbledon, South London is run by the multi-talented Producer, Engineer and Composer, Steven A Williams (Britney Spears, Eric Clapton, Sting, Seal).
Having recently completed the mix of singer/composer Isin Karaca’s latest album, Steven shared his vision for The Chapel Studios’ success in an industry in upheaval. “The Chapel Studios’ remit is to embrace new internet technologies in order to increase creativity, speed of output and sales. During the mixing of this album, Isin was in Turkey but she was involved every step of the way via Sykpe which The Chapel Studios have linked-up digitally to ProTools.
“Whether we need to pick the best take or choose a particular vocal effect, Skype is an excellent way to get feedback from international clients there and then. Gone are the days of emailing pre-mixes and waiting for a response. Many creative decisions can be made in real time, with video conversations, so the client is literally with you there in the Studio.”
