Lightship95, Miloco's 'studio on a boat' in the London Docks has enhanced its spec by adding four new mic pre’s (2x AEA TRPs and 2x Helios Type 69s); two compressors; a Purple Audio Action 1176 and a Standard Audio Level-Or.
Supplementing the mic pre’s are a Neumann U47 Fet, Brauner Valvet X, 2x Royer 121s, 2x Neumann KM184s, Sennheiser E902 and E906 and 2x Gefell MV692s with UM70 capsules.
Studio owner Ben Phillips has also acquired a Sonnor HiLite '80s maple drum kit which joins the Yamaha 9000 to give clients two great kits to choose from. The Pro Tools rig has been upgraded with an Intel Apple Mac Pro 2x 3GHz Dual-Core running Pro Tools 10 and last but not least the studio has purchased a new Radial Active DI-box.
